With nearly two decades of experience in both private and public sectors. Pamela, a native of Peru and mother of two daughters, brings a wealth of expertise. She graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and she holds influential positions in the industry as a Board Member of the Builders Industry Association (BIA) and chairs the Housing Legislation Committee. Her expertise led to her appointment of Planning Commissioner by the Mayor and City Council of Walnut Creek, a position which she now chairs. Pamela's involvement extends further as she sits on SCU's Civil Engineering Board. Leveraging a comprehensive background in real estate development, civil engineering, housing policy, CEQA and State and Federal resource permitting, Pamela oversees projects from initial land acquisition to sales. Her expertise lies in utilizing evolving legislation and policies to secure development rights for subdivisions. Additionally, she possesses invaluable experience in master planned communities, former Naval Base developments, and projects worldwide having contributed to significant projects including master planned communities in Northern California, Treasure Island in San Francisco, Hudson Yards in Manhattan and the Al Wasl 2020 World Fair in Dubai.
